Plum pickings

I know the last thing everyone wants to think about is fall since it technically isn’t even the end of summer yet but this is well worth it.

I got a press release today from Scandia Home all about purple and plum hues—apparently these tones are really big for fall (the first photo I have shows the company’s new collection, the second shows Graham & Brown’s “Alium” wallpaper pattern). I really love these colours–they instantly add richness and elegance to any space. Look for shades of orchid, mauve and eggplant. You can switch them into your décor easily by changing up a few accessories or accents—vases, lamp shades, toss cushions, sheets.
