We love this rug.
The Kikeriki rug is a playful new design by Nick Brunt and Michael A.C. Christie of Red Spruce.
Hand-hooked in Nova Scotia, the vibrant rug showcases the intricacy and rich texture of traditional rug hooking, while playing up the creative potential of the craft. Christie drew inspiration for the whimsical rooster design from his childhood. Based in Halifax, Red Spruce gives traditional Nova Scotia rug hooking a modern twist, specializing in handmade rugs and carpets from local, Canadian and American designers.
