Winter issue sneak peek
See what’s coming up in our winter magazine
It’s been a hectic week proofing and putting the final touches on the upcoming Winter Issue. I’m so excited to see this issue hit the newsstands—the cover is amazing and the magazine is packed with great stories. We send the files off to the printer on Tuesday—watch for the new magazine on Nov. 27.
Thought it would be fun to highlight a few of the stories we’ll be showcasing. Watch for a story by Edith Robb on this gorgeous home in downtown Fredericton, New Brunswick. Photo by Joanna Nickerson.
Our Eating In feature has a special story by Simon Thibault all about bake swaps, with great cookie/cake/square recipes for festive gift-giving ideas. I know I’ll be posting more outtakes from the photoshoot that took place last month at Megan McCarthy’s home in Halifax. I wasn’t able to attend (*sob*). Probably a good thing because I think I would have devoured those peanut butter balls…Photo by Dennis Evans.
And writer Zahra Sethna explores the art of growing veggies in the winter, chatting with Amy Smith and Verena Varga of Heartbeet Organics in P.E.I. and Halifax gardener Niki Jabbour (who’s due to release her first book, an expose on all-season gardening) in December—we’ll be giving away copies on our Facebook page). Have a great weekend!
