Here is the cover of our new Fall issue that is hitting newsstands this week.

Photographer Sean McGrath took this shot of homeowner Jennifer Mackay relaxing on a red Ligne Roset loveseat in her airy master bedroom loft. Red is such an on-trend colour right now and I love how the furniture adds vibrancy to the space. I also enjoy the elegant Moooi random lights and the wooden character standing to the right—that’s one of homeowner Chas Mackay’s playful sculptures.

The Mackay apple orchard is a spectacular backdrop for Jennifer and Chas’s unique hybrid home/cider house. I love its modern, sleek design. Special thanks to Monica Adair of Acre Architects, the Saint John, N.B.-based firm who designed this incredible home. Monica helped coordinate the photo shoot back in July. We had faced some challenges due to poor weather. It’s so wonderful to see the final result now in print!

Subscribers in Atlantic Canada should be receiving their copies of the new magazine in the mail this week.

In New Brunswick, the magazine was in September 16 copies of the Times & Transcript, Telegraph-Journal and The Daily Gleaner. In Halifax, there will be direct home deliveries on September 18. In Newfoundland, copies will be in The Western Star on September 19 and The Telegram on September 21. And in P.E.I., look for the magazine in The Guardian on September 21.
