Barry Roode, creative director of Nova Scotia’s Mushaboom Design, unveiled his new collection of luscious wallcoverings at the recent 2012 Interior Design Show in Toronto.

Inspired by the Halifax Public Gardens, Mushaboom’s new Victoria collection explores the beauty and tranquility of the park, capturing its rich and ethereal colours and textures. Roode’s patterns feature the park’s newly restored bandstand and the Victoria fountain. Commissioned in 1897 for Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee, the fountain is now being restored and should be finished this year, in time for Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee celebrations.
