Introducing our Winter 2015 cover

The latest East Coast Living is hitting newsstands across Atlantic Canada

By |

Our new cover showcases the sleek modern kitchen in Mallory Lennon and Matt Daigle’s home in Fredericton, New Brunswick. In the shot, you see Mallory at the custom butcher block. (Photography by Ashley Erb of Photo506, design by Gwen North, art direction by Janice Hudson).

ECL-Winter-15_Cover-LRI love everything about this space: the white subway tile, the open shelving (great for displaying local pottery and knick-knacks), and the fun chalkboard wall. It’s all so crisp and orderly.

Owner of the Fredericton-based company ReImagine Designs, Mallory is passionate about good design. She and Matt did much of the renovation themselves, transforming what was originally a dated 1960s bungalow into a chic two-storey home. Every room in the home now features rustic wood surfaces, eclectic artwork and super-chic modern lighting.

The story by New Brunswick writer Deborah Carr charts the reno, including many of the neat DIY projects they completed. You’re going to love reading about how everything came together.

Subscribers in Atlantic Canada should be receiving the new magazine in the mail shortly; copies will also be appearing in select newspapers across the region (on December 7 in Halifax’s The Chronicle Herald, and New Brunswick’s Times & Transcript, Telegraph-Journal and The Daily Gleaner; December 11 and 12 for Newfoundland’s The Western Star and The Telegram; and December 12 for P.E.I.’s The Guardian). Magazines are also available at local bookstores, Shoppers Drug Mart, Lawton’s and Superstores. To ensure you receive a copy of the magazine, please consider becoming a subscriber.

In the meantime, let me know what you think of our new cover.
