A Halifax mid-century home is reimagined with custom décor and local artwork, and a dramatic feature wall in the kitchen.

In the living room, masculine elements like the brown leather sofa and Inuit soapstone carvings play off the feminine elements like the blue accent colour, the patterned toss cushions, and the floral window treatments. Upstairs in the master bedroom, Griffin built the channel headboard. Working off the colour of the linens, she picked drapery and wallpaper to match. Matching mirror side tables by Bellissimo and Project 9 in Halifax.
Seven-year-old Stella loves the hammock over her bed that holds her growing collection of stuffed animals.
Christopher plays guitar in the basement, which has custom built ins to house his 300-plus board games.
