IODE Cheese Spread


This spread stores in the fridge for a week and freezes beautifully.




  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp dry mustard
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup cider vinegar
  • 500 g processed cheese
  • 1 jar pimiento pepper, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped


  1. Put eggs in top of double broiler.
  2. Mix sugar and mustard. Add to double broiler with butter. Cook until it resembles custard.
  3. Cube cheese and add along with vinegar.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in peppers.
